history.physio is the website of the International Physiotherapy History Association (IPHA), an organisation formed after the WCPT Congress in Cape Town, South Africa in 2018.
It is made up of physical therapy/physiotherapy academics, clinicians, researchers and students, along with other health professionals, historians, regulators and others interested in bringing the history of physiotherapy to life.
The group has an active Executive and more members across from around the world.
Members of the Association produce blog posts, publish in academic journals, present at international conferences and promote the study of the profession’s history.
