Hoppenfeld (1934-2020) was a physician and surgeon who lived and worked in the USA. His approach consisted of examining the muscular, vascular and neurological tissues surrounding a structure, and with this precise examination of the anatomy was better able to understand the physical context of the body part. His drawings were precise, clear and explanatory for physiotherapy students to better understand structures.
