To celebrate the 75th anniversary of World Physiotherapy (formerly the World Confederation for Physical Therapy – WCPT) on 8 September 2026, we’ve created a special 75-question challenge to put your knowledge of the profession to the test.
The challenge is divided into five quizzes of 15 questions each. Don’t expect an easy ride—the questions are designed to separate the enthusiasts from the experts. We suspect the average physiotherapist will score fewer than 5 out of 15. Even members of the International Physiotherapy History Association may only achieve 6–10 correct (assuming they’ve been paying attention!). A score of more than 10 is likely to be exceptional.
The good news? You’ll receive the answers immediately after completing each quiz, making it a fun and engaging way to discover fascinating stories, people, and milestones from physiotherapy’s rich history.
Quiz 1 launches on 4 August 2026, with a new quiz released each week until the anniversary celebrations.
